The goal of the project was to design a solution that would:

• maximize storage capacity
• free up production space
• introduce a clear and structured material handling system
• streamline material flow into production

We implemented a vertical storage solution → 2× Metal Sheet Tower (MS type).

The system was complemented by a self-suction vacuum manipulator, significantly easing material handling for operators. Material transfer from vertical storage to the laser is now significantly faster compared to the situation before implementation, where handling and preparation were time-consuming.

The project was executed in several consecutive phases:

• capacity planning and layout design
• preparation of the foundation slab for tower installation
• installation of the Metal Sheet Tower system
• installation of the manipulator for efficient material handling
• testing and commissioning
• final electrical inspection and official system launch

After completion, the day-to-day operations changed significantly:

• all sheet metal now has a clearly defined storage location
• the warehouse is organized and fully controllable
• handling is faster and simpler
• production space has been significantly freed up

What was once a chaotic setup has become a structured and controlled system.

Key benefits of the solution:

• Efficiency: Semi-automated system accelerates handling and eliminates unnecessary movements
• Visibility: Immediate control over inventory and material flow
• Safety: Controlled access and protected transfer points

The solution is now fully integrated into daily operations. The customer particularly values the space savings, improved warehouse visibility, and significantly simplified material handling.

This project confirms that efficient storage is not about having more space, but about designing a smarter system.
